Like Flowers In The Sky

~P~O~P

After 3 months i have at last P.O.P from BMTC J coy 3 days ago.I was feeling kinda sad but yet excited on my P.O.P day.We have rehearsed our gradution parade 3 times just for that day,couldn't afford to screw up anything,our parents/loved ones were in the stands watching each and everyone of our moves.Our marching/stand at attention/rifle salute/etc was all prefect to the last detail.I couldn't quite describe the feeling i had when my mother put on the jocky cap for me,its a mixed between pride/proud/joy.After we had performed our Infantry Roar,there was the cue for us to get ready to throw our jocky caps.I wouldn't never forget the atmosphere at that moment,i was relucent to leave the place after getting used to it for 3 months and the people.However at the same time i know that once i threw my cap up,it marks the end of my BMT,i no longer a recuit who knew nothing about army life.As i threw the cap high up,i feel kinda relief,like i am putting down a burden,i have completed one part of my army life.The parade square exploded as the caps,i was pull into a circle by my platoon mates and to the chants of "POP" we jumped around in circles.

The last entry i make was 3 months ago,just a day before i was to be enlisted in.Come to think of it ,those 3 months arn't really that bad.It isn't as bad as i would expect it to.

I can still remember the first moment i walk into section 4 bunk,i was amazed at how clear the place was.But now after being in there for 3 months,we have to do area clearing like daily.Thats why the whole place was so damn clear!

The stuff that i have learnt or undergo:
Strength Trainning
AGR : Ability Group Running
Throwing Generade
Firing Off M16 rifle
Foot Drill
4-24km Route Marches
Army Songs
Field Camp
SOC : Standard Obstacle Course
and
LOTS OF PUSH UPS!

The time has come for J coy platoon 2 to split,we will be going off to our own vocation.Be it OCS,Sispec or Man,hopefully we will keep in contact with each other through out.

All those caps being thrown high up into the sky on P.O.P that day,to me,they look just like flowers in the sky.
